so full of shit

why is it that some guys prefer it that their friends think that they´re the best and don´t care about their girlfriends? they´d go out until the wee hours of the morning,drinking,flirting with other whores,and what do the girlfriends do? stay at home and wait. maybe,theý will call to ask us to pick them up,or they need us to pay for their taxi,so kapal ng mukha.

but still we stick with them....i´ve heard and read that you can never change a bad boy. some girls like a challenge that´s why we hook up with these bad boy types. we have that hope that they will change for us,because we will show them true love,and be the one that they are looking for. but this is so false. men are selfish. they will always undermine women. act like that they´re God when they´re around,like,do as I say or else i´m gonna go out with someone else.

And stupid as we are,we oblige to what they want. We really are stupid,I´ve been with lots of assholes. And my greatest fault is that I always think that they will change. oh God,i am so stupid. I never learn. Nowadays,i try not to listen when guys make passes at me. I think they´re dumb. They have this modus operandi to ACT all sweet,like our knight in shining armor...we try to do everything. Not go uto with our friends,we put the guy first,we don´t show up for family gatherings because we prefer to be with the said asshole. But sooner or later,we end up alone. Because when us girls,stop living our lives to be with the guy,they keep on having their social lives. What becomes of us? we stay at home,waiting for a text,an email,i.m. and we come running. What have become of us? Pitiful. Still we stay,because we keep on hoping that maybe tomorrow,or the next day,they´ll change and see that we are just waiting for them to wake up. this is so wrong.

holidays

ugh. i was so stuffed last Christmas Eve with so much food that i had a hard time breathing...no,not another asthma attack!

i slept on my sister-in-law´s couch...i couldn´t sleep,her baby was stirring every few hours...

made me nervous..my daughter was the same when she was a baby. i hope my nephew doesn´t have cholic.

now it´s the 26th of december,i didn´t receive any gifts.i gave 3 gifts in total...jajaja.

i got to thinking that christmas really is just for the kids. of all the commercial i´ve seen recently on tv,about the siginificance of christmas,it made me think,wy do we chrstians celebrate it and others don´t?

is it the time to ask that if God made us and Christ saved us,who will save the others who don´t believe?and who created them?who will save them?

i´m on a see-saw with my spirituality.

- ivyang,you need to read all of them...but remember,eric is mine!

4. The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
- do i need to explain? j.k. rowling has turned teens to reading again...

5. The Historian by Elizabet Kostova
- a fictitious book about Count Dracula..but has a few historical facts.

6. The Golden Compass Trilogy by Philip Pullman
- the movie wasn´t very successfull in the US,but the books are great.

7. Narnia Series by C.S. Lewis
- love it!

8. My Sister´s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
- to us who have sisters,it is a must read.

9. One True Thing by Anna Quindlen
- a story about a mother and daughter...the conflicts and resolutions. It made my no-heart ache a bit.

10. The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
- about the poverty stricken childhood of the Walls Siblings.True story.

11. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyle
- a German boy and a Jewish boy become friends.Tragic.

12. Bridget Jones Diary (1 and 2)
- for us 30 somethings....WE can still kick ass.....

13. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
- girls,Ben Barnes (the actor who played Prince Caspian),will be playing Dorian Gray in the movie adaptation.Read the book first!!! Don´t go crushing on my Ben...
